Is PEMF therapy safe?

PEMF therapy is not only safe, it’s also a highly non-invasive healing therapy. Several research studies have been conducted that confirm its safety, a few of which you can explore in the resources below:

The only instances where we do not provide PEMF treatment is to anyone who must wear a pacemaker for their heart, who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and any child ages 12 and under.

Can I use PEMF if I’m undergoing other treatments or not?

Absolutely! In fact, combining therapies can produce that desired healing effect you may be looking for. Some good treatments that can align perfectly with receiving PEMF therapy include:

  • Hypnosis or hypnotherapy

  • Acupuncture

  • Physiotherapy

  • Infrared

  • Counselling

  • Chiropractic

  • Massage Therapy

  • Osteopathy

  • Cranial sacral therapy (CST)

How many sessions for PEMF therapy do I need?

We recommend our clients to undergo at least 3 PEMF treatments, depending on the reason. We will normally schedule clients to come in for treatment once a week, 3 times total.

Generally, we suggest you come weekly. However, your treatment numbers may be less depending on your health condition in question. For example, cancer patients and anyone who is recovering from surgery will require more regular weekly treatments until your condition or ailment has improved.

When is a good time to get PEMF treatment?

Anytime, especially if you have experienced any or most of the following cases:

  • You have undergone other treatments with no success

  • Your surgery results are complicated

  • Your pain is chronic even after receiving treatment

  • You are experiencing adverse reactions to traditional healthcare methods, such as antidepressants

  • You are frustrated by the lack of progress from one or all of the above items and still need to heal

How will I feel after PEMF?

You may feel immediate relief while receiving PEMF therapy. That being said, if there are toxins in your body that have resided in you for so long, you may feel tender and sore as a result. This soreness is your body’s natural response to receiving detoxification, which has to happen before the healing can occur.

This is why we usually recommend follow-up appointments for PEMF; we want to make sure all those toxins in your body are completely addressed and detoxified. One good tip to keep in mind is the more open minded you are to PEMF, the greater and better your results can be and the more likely you are going to see improvement to your overall health.
